In partnership with Midland University and the Nebraska Department of Education's Grow Your Own Apprenticeship initiative, Elkhorn Public Schools is offering current EPS Teacher Assistants an opportunity to further their education and become certified elementary classroom teachers.

Space is limited (4 spots), and ideal applicants are full-time Teacher Assistants in EPS who will maintain their employment with EPS for the duration of the program and who have at least 40 hours of undergraduate college credits.  Official transcripts will be required for application.

Classes are generally held two evenings per week at Midland University Omaha campus.  The program is expected to begin in March 2025 with anticipated completion in Spring 2027.
